LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK! Map being created for SFM.
Finished 2 more of the mosaics. Still need to do Dawn's. I played around with adding lighting to each, though I think it was a bit too strong in this render. Toned it down about 30% in Hammer, but just haven't re-rendered it yet.
In relation to the mosaics, they have a "theme" for each. Day has more round lines that cross, giving a feeling of fire. Night has more straight lines, representing the cold. It also has trails for some stars that appear to circle clockwise. Dusk has a more "shattered" feel and I wanted to give the illusion of silhouettes, like you would get at sundown. Hence, there are 3 strong "beams of light" that illuminate the silhouettes of leaves. Falling leaves were used as they give the feeling of the fall season, which is kinda like dusk in a way. Dawn will probably have some birds and grass of sorts and try to represent life. Will either be green or a sunrise red. If I go red, dusk may be pushed further into the purple spectrum. The only reason I do not want to go green is so it doesn't look like an Equestrian Simon game. >.<
Again, the far door is NOT the one I am working on; the center hall is the one with the gold door and such. Once it is done, I will be copying it to the other halls.

OPINIONS?
- Lighting. The center hall is a bit lighter due to the sun coming in, but the others are fairly dark. Should I boost the lighting of the map a bit?
- Now that I have most the mosaics up, should the center sun texture be glowing as well? I am almost thinking to keep it non-lit. I could add bump mapping, making the lights from the surroundings windows give it a nice definition.
- Still trying to figure out what to put in the small cubbyholes between the mosiacs. Was going to put the plants again, but they just didn't fit. Was considering a pony statue of some sort (kinda like a gargoyle).

So, when I make a map in hammer and put it into sfm, it says the map is missing HDR. Do you have any way to fix this?
